Running Speed: Home to First & Home to Second: Players will be timed on their sprint from home plate to first base. Remember to run through the bag, not to it. On the second round, the player will be timed running from home plate, touching first base, and continuing on to second. Treat this as if you are going for a double in a game.

Exit Velocity: A hitter will measure their hitting power and bat speed off the tee.

Position Velocity: Arm strength will be recorded from players in both the infield and outfield to measure their throwing velocity.

Catcher Evaluations: We will evaluate catchers based on their pop times and throwing velocity from behind the plate.

Pitching Evaluations: We will track pitching velocities live in games, providing a true measure of each pitcher's performance in real competition.

Home Run Derby: (In addition to these evaluations, players can also show off their power in a fun and competitive Home Run Derby).

Home Run Derby is a hitting contest to see which player within their age group hits the most homeruns using their own bat. Each participant will need a coach / volunteer to pitch to them. The Home Run Derby will consist of two rounds. In round 1 each player will receive a 45 second time limit. The top 5 players will advance to Round 2. In round 2 each advancing player will receive a 60 second time limit to hit. The overall champion will be determined by the player with the most HR’s in round 2. If there is a tie there will be a 5 swing swing-off to determine the champion.
